David Cook to perform at Ion's birthday bash

Ion Orchard continues its tradition of throwing a free concert to mark its anniversary.

For its third birthday bash on Thursday, it has invited American Idol Season 7 winner David Cook to hold an outdoor concert outside the mall from 6.30pm.

The event will also feature a fashion show by eight brands available at the mall, including Armani Exchange and Bimba & Lola, which will showcase their fall/winter 2012 collections.

Other birthday treats include:

l. Starting last Friday till Oct 31, stand to win a pair of Singapore Airlines business class tickets to Paris when you spend at least $100 in a single receipt at any store in the mall, including its eateries and beauty and grooming outlets. The chances of winning are tripled for American Express card members.

2. Every day till Oct 31, the first 50 shoppers who spend at least $120 in one receipt will receive a $10 Ion Orchard shopping voucher.

3. Starting last Saturday till Oct 30, art buffs can catch an exhibition of 45 original artworks by six pop and contemporary artists, such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Damien Hirst, at the Ion Art Gallery on Level 4. Admission is free.
